Nutznbotz’ system

no, I found some of it very helpful.  I just don't understand a lot of it.  I"m actually going to share the info with the three electricians I bring in for quotes and get their thoughts. I really wish I could find an audiophile electrician, lol.... I guess I'm asking for too much, :).

Few audiophiles would be of help.  What you need is to speak with an instrumentation engineer, a specialist in EMI/RFI, or an EE who understands the subtleties of nodal and mesh circuit analysis.  And, is a licensed professional engineer or electrician.   The latter is so that your and his/her respective butts are protected with regard to safety and insurance.

Audiophiles are enthusiastic consumers of equipment.  Some even listen to music.  :8^)  That's not who you need to speak to.

Thanks.  Another good read.  I spoke with Richard yesterday about what I should do.  I've decided to just have them connect the Romex 12ga to the screw terminals on the existing outlet and keep wire nuts out of the loop.  I'll run the 2 Audioquest Edison outlets behind each speaker for the amps and speakers.  I'll then get the brand new Furutech outlet for behind the system.  The Niagara will plug into that.  I'll keep everything on the same 20amp dedicated line.  Keeping it simple.

But, wait!  There's more!

http://hifisonix.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Ground-Loops.pdf

More than half of this paper is about the internals of a power amplifier.  That may only be of passing interest, although the author keeps talking about how his ideas apply to "non doubly insulated" equipment.  How about doubly insulated gear?  Like some products made by a certain company in Colorado?

The other half is really germane here.

Which one?  Ayre?  My server/dac is being put into a new two box system.  By separating the power from the server/DAC, they are able to build in their own filters, use more LPS's for the various parts that need one and isolate and insulate.  I"m very excited about the prospects of this and can't wait to hear it.  They are also able to use special point to point wiring (I assume Cardas).  I believe they are using a milled block of aluminum for the case, but not 100% on that.  I will also get to chose any auto paint color or any anodized color which is really cool.  Sorry to go on about it, lol.

I'll read this later tonight.
