Delkat
Pretty good interview with Bill Low. Lots of references to Richard and also Randy Cooley @Optimal Plus. Todd
Oregon
Sounds like he runs Vandersteens in his rig.
Oregon
Turns out at the time he was running 2C's...
ctsooner
Yes, he runs Vandy's. If I recall, he has the same paint finish that I have. Audi Havana Black (heavy copper flakes in a black paint. I am never surprised when I hear about so many reviews who do use Steen's for their personal listening.
Delkat
He mentions Rockports too. Sounds like he’s got multiple systems in multiple locations.
ctsooner
He may. I have enjoyed listening to some Rockport systems over the years. They aren't Vandersteen's for me, but I"ve yet to find any speaker that does THAT for me. When set up properly, there are plenty of speakers I could live with and love, but I'd still be missing something.

Rockport's are fine speakers but not "Time and Phase Correct". RV

Richard, off the top of your head, what's left that's time and phase correct. I just got back from auditioning the top Wilsons at JS Audio (I texted Brad before heading in). It was all digital (DCS) and since I use digital, I'm able to do a proper audition as neither my system, nor their's is time and phase correct. I liked my Quatro's CT's over the newest 50th anniversary Watt Puppy's. I didn't even ask how much they were, but they just lacked micro detail with the emotions are. Fun listening for awhile, but just not my ride or die speaker. Especially for the coin that's asked. They put more money into their look than their sound for my money. Honestly, my painted Quatro's can be put up against any of the speakers out there, JMHO.
