Taguit
New here and happy to get some advice, Just purchased a pair of 1Ci+. Due to my room and also because I'm am permanently confined to a wheelchair my listening position is 6'3" from the speakers. I want to know should I be using the stands? Thanks in advance
Holmz
Welcome @Taguit On page 5 it talks about the tilt. Being close, and maybe the wheelchair being higher than a sofa, you may need more tilt, and I suspect that the stands might help raise em up. https://www.vandersteen.com//media/files/Manuals/1cmanual.pdf best of luck with it bro ♿
ctsooner
Welcome to the board and congrats on your new Steen’s. I’m sure you will love them. I was in a chair for about 6 months (using a rollator now) and although I didn’t have Steen’s i found that i needed to have my speakers moved around a bit as I was in a totally different position as i was sitting up straighter etc… The best part about Steen’s is that it doesn’t matter what seat you are in, they are set up (tilt) the same way. Keep us posted and please share some fun pics as soon as you get a chance. We all love seeing each other’s systems. Pete
