Audiophil6616
I'm want to replace my "wire" connections to my Treo CT speakers with spades. And I'm doubting my own measurements for the barrier spade width I need for connecting my integrated amplifier to the Treo CTs. Is 5/16" max width? Audiophil6616
Good suggestion. I wasn't sure if anyone knew the specs for spade width or not. I've asked Richard.

I'm sorry I thought someone was busting my balls for always being here! There was a picture with the question so certainly one could read a tape measure or search this forum. 7/16 inch max width. Sorry it's a flaw in my character to always look for the deeper thought. RV

stratocaster
@Audiophil6616 watch out for the thickness of the housing from where the spade originates. I have had a few instances where the housings were a little thick and hence would touch each other. I guess it shouldn't have mattered since they were insulated but the audio ocd brain of mine didn't like it. Secondly, I have had wires where the length of the actual spade was long so after you screwed them the top portion of adjacent spades would look unnervingly close. Again, no problem in the grand scheme of things since they never touched each other but visually it would always cast suspicions on the possibility of an accident. Audiophil6616
Richard replied that max barrier spade width is 7/16" on the Treo CT connection plate. I wasn't positive my measuring was accurate...and it wasn't!

The kids when they were younger loved to show me cartons because they knew I would not get some of them. They would laugh and explain them to me and I would say that's stupid I was looking for something more meaningful. RV 2
