ctsooner
I have all the original packing. Does the white cloth and the other piece go on top of the speaker? I assume I then wrap them in the plastic. My son will come over to hold the speakers steady while I remove the spikes. Johnny took the boxes apart when he set them up, so I want to verify I'm doing it correctly (you guys now understand my MS cognitive issues better. It's hard for me to notice things that are obvious at times and I'm so wiped out mentally from all of this packing etc.., that it's impossible to concentrate). Thanks all. Trying to make sure to never put the speakers on their side. The movers said they will bring a pallet and bander/shrink wrap, to move them properly. I'm calling the mover tomorrow to verify they have those things. I may just get some shrink wrap anyways and if I can find a pallet, I'll get one. Any ideas on what size I should get? Delkat
My Kentos had a layer of cloth then a thin layer of styro paper taped to form around the top of the speaker then bagged in plastic cinched tight with tape in the back of the speaker. Boxes over everything and taped with that stranded banding tape. Todd
Oregon
Richard, Quattros are arriving next week. Should Bradfords Audio (the seller) be aware the box requires destruction so as to extract the loudspeaker from the packaging? Must the box be destroyed/collapsed? ctsooner
I don't see any foam cover, just the cardboard one that's part of the box. It's probably how they came. Thanks
Delkat
I don’t know how to describe the foam I’m talking about. It comes in a roll about 18” wide and it’s about 3/16” thick and very flexible. It gets used in shipping a lot as a thin layer of padding to wrap around items. It protects against the cardboard top of the box that has the recess to hold the speaker top from moving around. See photo.

Cody The Quatro packing is designed to be kept for future use. You can see a diagram in the online owner's manual. It can be collapsed for storage.
