bkeske
Nice Jim. So many remasters of that album. Maybe one off these days I’ll spring for one.
Huang
@bkeske the UHQR release of Kind of Blue is supposed to be quite spectacular, it is 33 1/3 not 45 RPM. It can be bought now & will most likely disappear quickly.
bkeske
Thanks @Huang. Yes I know, it looks like a great set. Watched Mikey Fremer on YouTube reviewing the project with all those involved. I’m sure it’s a good one.

GdnrBob
My very distant memory of 45rpm records found them to be distinctly better sounding than 33.3 records.- Though I was only a child, my hearing was much better then... B
ctsooner
The faster the speed, the better it seemed to sound. I've never done that with tape. hmmm....
GdnrBob
Holy cow! I was streaming music and saw that I Favorited Ruby and The Romantics- Our Day Will Come. I remember that record because it had a really vivid label, as well as having really great sound. And, a 45rpm record at that. I won't claim it is a great piece of work, but it still makes me feel good after all those years. Gettin' old, I suppose...👴 B

Initial reviews were extremely favorable, but ............... has anyone else heard about that?

Holmz
Maybe that is where they got the term, “Pop Music?” 😎
