That section around 40’:40” to 41’:00” was interesting.

Sort of reminds me of a few things I have heard over the years about Vandys being “laid back”,  dark, boring, or relaxed….
And also the Atmasphere Class-D amps being lacking in the high end.

I think a lot of people are either use to having sizzle, or expect some extra sparkle.
I have correlated that when the distortion is low, the systems can have a somewhat quiet sound, which I particularly like.

The flip side of the negative subjective words I listed above are words like, non-fatiguing, or phrases like we listened to them late into the night just playing song after song.
