JonM
Sharing some pics for fun. Moved in to this house end of July last year. Distracted with many house projects. Zeroing in on Quatro positioning. No room EQ yet. Added three dedicated 20 amp breakers last week (sources, right, and left). I followed the MSB suggestions this time with 10 gauge Romex and the McMaster Carr silver paste on breakers. All 3 on same phase. So far that seems like it was worth the extra effort. Also switched to 6 meter AQ Pegasus, which work great with M5 DBS ports (didn’t even require a special order with AQ). Do have window treatments which I assume help but I like to look out and keep them up. Lots of changes so hard to know what did what since the last house but I think the sound is altogether better as-is right now, and that’s without EQ or final figits with toe and position. Could be the 7 pound DAC weight/pre-heater. Small room. About 13x13.5 with 10 foot ceilings. Lots of hard surfaces. Really nice subfloor and old school dimensional lumber floor joists.
JonM
PS. Standing offer… anyone near or visiting Charleston, come by for drinks/coffee and listening. PPS. The wall wort power supply is switched on a 3 way I can operate from listening chair. It’s an indoor invisible fence unit that keeps cat out of a 6 foot radius dome. Not only is it switched, but also on a separate breaker panel. Edited April 8 by JonM

chris1625
Great looking and I'm sure sounding system. The room I have my Treo's (Kento's on order) in has a lots of glass in it, with windows also behind them also. I installed soundproof and thermal insulated 100% blackout curtains in the room, if you have any room reflection issues from the windows give those a try. They are amazing for the price and my wife is so happy that I did not in her words "Put ugly room things up". I have a very similar floor but not as lucky with the construction, I had to get floor supports installed in the room when we remodeled knowing audio was going in it.
bkeske
Very nice Jon, like the room a lot. Old traditional detailing, but you have furnished it very cleanly. Nicely done sir 👍🏼 Enjoy.
