DC-93
From your ears, do you measure to the front of the speaker top? This isn’t specifically spelled out in the owners manual. (2CeSig II)
DC-93
Hmm, or from the acoustical center, measured on the top??
Richard Vandersteen
Pick any acoustical center but be consistent. Remember these are guidelines for a good start not ABSOLUTES. Once the best position is found experiment with small 1-inch tweaks over time and get everything locked in. Don't forget to tweak the Toe once the best position is identified. Recommended Toe is used to get a uniform spread across the sound stage with a recording known for a good soundstage (Jazz at the Pawnshop) as covered in the owner's manual. Stringreen
When I set up my speakers, as I moved them pointing outward ...there was a point that when there was a hole (dead spot) between the speakers....brought them back just a hair and found a big wide open window......experiment.
