Pete
I’m trying to get more bass at lower volume levels without messing with EQ. Can I add a sub woofer to my Treo’s?
TomicTime
Yes……the Sub 3 is ideal for .this and with appropriate Vandy high pass filters will also yeild a very nice improvement in midrange clarify …. BUT ….. a sub is playing pretty low…. typically when people ask for more bass at low levels it is due to how tge ear / brain works and a loudness control compensates…. around 200 hz…. i would try placing the Treo closer to rear wall / and or corners… this may give you the bump you desire… photo is my Treo w sub 3
Holmz
If you are digital, then why not use some loudness control type of bump? It is a well known phenomenon. (Aka: Fletcher-Munson) Edited November 3 by Holmz
