ursus13
I’m having a static issue with the turntable mat, every time I flip or change a record the tt mat comes off the platter with the record. Anyone ever have this issue? I don’t know if maybe the static comes from brushing the record? The records that I’ve washed (with a Dr. Record VI) don’t seem to have the issue. The static cling doesn’t effect the sound just makes playing records a bit of a pia.

I am not going to pretend that I understand how a glass rod and wool, or thunderheads, Vn De Graf generators, etc work. But it might be possible that the static could be Dimond and vinyl induced.
