ursus13
I held on to my VLR CTs. I was going to sell them after upgrading, but can’t bring myself to do it. I have a dream of getting a small tube amp (like an ampsandsound) and setting up a tube based office system. Something I really like about the VLRs (paired w Ayre) was their frequency response at low volumes.
ctsooner
It’s got to be one of the most unassuming speakers you can get, but in typical Richard fashion, those things can sing. I have a TV soundbar and I don’t love it. I’ve been thinking about getting the regular pair of VLR’s for the bedroom TV and use a simple integrated to run it all. Just like the old days where you could put a really nice system in someone’s home for a realistic price to the non audiophile who hears and loves the difference.
