bkeske
Been listening to most all my Vaughan Williams on vinyl, and realized I did not own The Sea Symphony (No. 1) on vinyl. So, rectified that. Just arrived, so taking it for a spin…. Sir Adrian Boult conducts Vaughan Williams A Sea Symphony (No. 1), words by Walt Whitman The Wasps: Aristophanic Suite London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Choir, Sheila Armstrong soprano, John Carol Case baritone Angel repress 2LP box 1970, originally 1968 A very nice recording. Well worth the $11 shipped.
Jackstraw75
This Symphony No 6 “Pathetique” is desert island worthy! Frighteningly good towards the end…👌
John Gallup
With the new Sutherland Engineering Dos Locos phono pre-amp hooked up, and AQ Thunderbird interconnects replacing the previous "Water" wires between the pre-amp and M5-HPAs, I decided to test things out with this King Crimson warhorse, "In the Wake of Poseidon." Still good, and in fact sounds substantially better. The cover is a gatefold with no text; the image is called "The Twelve Archetypes," which calls to mind Carl Jung's psychological theories, but the image titles don't really match. Anyway it's a great album and it's fun to hear it even more distinctly after all these years. As they say in reviews, I heard things I'd never heard before. bkeske
Finally purchased the 50th Anniversary edition. Incredibly nice. They really did a nice job on this 50th series. Many of my originals have been replaced with them.

John Gallup
I grew up on Doc Watson's wonderful flatpicking and was surprised to think he might still be alive. Alas, he passed in 2012, according to W'pedia. But we'll always have the music. Thanks for this. (It's on Tidal.) 1
GdnrBob
I just can't stop thinking about George Carlin's take on 'If I were a Carpenter'. Bob

Holmz
Can’t wait to get these onto the TT… But it will be 4 months, so I am channeling my inner Buddhist patience skillz. Might need to order an XXXL saffron robe.

MusicForDave
Re-listening to music through the new Kentos. My wife commented on how good the Chloe Chua album sounded, and she’s never had interest in listing to music with me before. 3
