Tom Newell Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 I am a couple of months overdue for the factory battery replacement for the internal crossovers on my 7’s. I have experience removing crossovers from the Model 5A carbons. Is there any difference for the Model 7? Any quirksI need to be aware of? Do I need to buy batteries and ship with crossovers to Vandersteen? Anyone know the current cost? Thanks much!
Richard Vandersteen Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Tom, the owner's manual has complete instructions on how to remove the crossover as it is very similar to the Model 5. Cost is $245 which includes the battery's and return UPS. Mark the crossovers because they need to go back into the same speaker. RV 1
TomicTime Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Especially w Model 7 which have a unique battery configuration you WANT the experienced factory hands doing the battery replacements ! 1
Peter C Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I’m handy with a soldering iron. I’d prefer to replace mine myself. What are the specs on the batteries?

To do both speakers, you will need 24 pieces of BR-2330/VCN (the version with solder terminals) lithium batteries. RV 1
