I do not own Vandersteens yet, but I am working as hard as possible to claw through some life issues and barriers to fix that. I am pretty settled on the final solution, even the cabling, but for now I am just drooling and reading reviews. I came upon this article featuring Treos: http://www.fullrange.kr/ytboard/view.php?id=webzine_review&no=570#.YVptgkbMJ0I ...and I am curious what veneer finish this is. Is this Purple Heart? ctsooner Posted October 8, 2021 Share Posted October 8, 2021 Guys, as nice as Purple Heart is, it gets oxidized over time and can become blotchy etc. I’ve made a few items out of it and used UV protected finishes and it doesn’t matter.
