New Joe Bonamassa album

Streaming the new music right now as I get ready for his concert on Wed night in Hartford,, CT.  The Bushnell is a GREAT music venue.  Wonderful acoustics.  Our seats are middle Orchestra, Row M with the two dead center seats. I could have been closer, but we've done that most of the time.  I chose seats about 8 rows further back than normal as I want to hear the music fan out a bit more and breath.  

I made a playlist of the songs he's played in the last two weeks on tour.  No Driving towards the Daylight (a favorite), but it's a great set list and I'm pumped to go.  This will be the 8th or 9th time I've seen him and he never gets old.  Just some great musicians and what a performer.  I hope you all get a chance to see him. I know he added a bunch of summer dates that went on sale this weekend.  I joined the fan club years ago to get tickets early, lol.....

 

Listening to Mountain Time as I type this.  It's most likely his encore.  Perfect song to drive home from!  Oh, this Brinkmann has taken me to a new level digitally.  My Memory Player was also recently updated (it's a test mule for them) and they have cut the ringing SOOOO much that this sounds like it's a DSD recording.  How do they do this with digital?

Thanks Jim. I’m sure we will have a fun night. He’s never let us down. My favorite concert was live at Carnegie Hall. First time there and he was amazing. They taped and made a record from both nights there. It’s a must stream for guitar fans.

It's a present to myself....no time to post tonight, but it was a magic night.  He's the greatest and also a great showman. What a group of musicians he puts together.
