Merlin Signature 4 Speakers

Hi,

Anybody heard of these or know anything about them.  Very little info out there.  NY based company, folded in 2015.  I have a chance to pick up a pair for a second system for $900 which I feel is $400 too much.  I welcome any advice or info.

Did you call?

 

• Dunlavy, Theil and Vandersteen put their own names on things.
• Bose Corp and Dirac put other’s names on things.

The name Merlin alone conjures up magic, which would personally put me off a bit.
(Unless Merlin himself had put his name on them… )
