I remember speaking to Richard in the early 90s and asking him if a center speaker for home theater application would be developed to match up with my 2CI.

He said there was a possibility but unsure at the moment. He then was kind enough to explain the importance of developing a good center channel and how a coaxial design like a car speaker makes a lot of sense for a center channel. I believe a year later the VCC1 and the VSMs were released.

When I bought this house, the previous owner built in NHT speakers for surround......I use them for tv,  but not a fan of surround......  2 channel real system is in another room

I nearly bought a pair of NHT's for the TV many many years ago. I wonder what year they went under.  I remember them as being a really good value for an inexpensive speakers.

I owned  a pair of NHT's, too. Forget which model, but they were very good for the money. Sad to hear they are no more.

I never knew how many folks bought those, but it was a fair amount.  They even looked cool for the cost in their glossy vinyl black cabinets. Ha
