Stringreen Posted May 1, 2022 Share Posted May 1, 2022 Its the 1st day of the new month....time to wash the floors (too cheap to hire someone). I have an Ecobee thermostat with Alexa hiding inside. I asked her to play me some classical music. The sound is as removed from "high fidelity" as can be, yet the experience brought great pleasure and even a tear from the beauty. Stringreen Posted May 2, 2022 Author Share Posted May 2, 2022 (edited) so interesting you said that Boss.....When I was in graduate school for music, I asked one of my favorite professors as he was listening to some violin concerto using a Webcor phono with a handle so that he could carry it around....."how can you listen to music with such poor sound as this".....his answer is that he hears the parts that are missing.
