And maybe the forum needs A-E indents like we had in grade school (or “Holmz Skool”) 😎. My wife runs an art center so the house is full of modern art. That is a tree branch that is covered in graphite(pencil). I’ve seen work by the artist that is consists of a 6 foot diameter by about 10 ft long piece of a tree all covered in graphite by hand with pencils. Incredibly labor intensive. Here’s another one. DogsPart2
Looks like a new pair of Treo CTs are on the horizon for me. Was originally planning on the Birdseye maple (w/ black grill), however due to cost and WAF, will more than likely just do maple.
Steve Edwards
DogParts2, CONGRATULATIONS on your pending purchase; I’m confident you’ll love them. Just FYI, the cloth is available in 3 (I think) shades. So, if you would like less of a contrast between the shades of the wood & the cloth, that is an option. GdnrBob
My non-CT Treo's were Cherry with Black I now have Cherry CT's with Grey cloth. I have to say the grey cloth is less severe and seems to blend into the room better. Bob
DogsPart2
Thank you.! Did not know I had a choice in cloths. Will keep it in mind. Still reviewing the finishes. The Birdseye maple is to die for.; however the price!!! Local dealer said I should consider the Kewazinga.
Holmz
I appreciate lipstick, eyeliner and spats just as much as the next guy or lady… but beauty is not only just skin deep. To really appreciate em, one sometimes needs to look deeper…

I’m on my third pair of Vandersteens, all fully covered in black cloth. It is, of course, a matter of personal preference. If I’m ever blessed with the good fortune of upgrading my Quatros, I would go with the grey cloth & the closest matching automotive paint; on either the Quatros CT or the Kentos. I guess my brain has just become comfortable with the continuity. Play on

ctsooner
I nearly went with Purple Heart as I’ve built a few things with it. Use a great UV top coat and it will stay purple and not darken so much.
