John Gallup
...but the sound on this album is awfully good; you can distinguish the rhythm and lead guitars easily in the long jams on "Cowgirl in the Sand" and "Down by the River," which not coincidentally are two of my favorites of his songs. 4
stratocaster
@John Gallup I love Neil Young and regret having missed seeing him a few weeks back when he performed in SD. I have found his older albums to have better sound than the ones where the electric guitar seems to overpower the songs (especially at slightly higher volumes). I find the overall presentation too jarring. My favorites from a sound quality are Zuma and Harvest Moon.

Listening to Joe Bonamassa Live from Carnegie Hall (we were there the first night of the recording). His voice has gotten so much better album over album. Best guitarist I've heard.
