Mike Goetz
Got tired of waiting for the MoFi One-Step of this one (on preorder for well over a year and a half). I can’t imagine it would sound better than this in any case. Miles Davis Bitches Brew, MFSL 2-439, 33RPM, Limited Edition No. 11076

olds1959special
Chet Baker fans, check out Ruth Young, she was his girl friend, and an incredible singer in her own right. I have only been able to find this on YouTube (can't find her on Apple Music).

"Dire Traits" (smoking? sky-diving?) sounds like it would be an interesting band anyway.😀

Jorma and Jack are still making beautiful music. Jorma's COVID live-streams on Saturdays were a real treat. And if you're a hard-core fan like me, this book is kinda fun. 2

Bruskie
Another Jorma/Jack fan here. I've seen Jorma more times than any other musician. He signed my Quah cover to my older daughter a month after she was born. I think I'll give it a listen now @John Gallup +1 2
Mike Goetz
Haven’t listened to this wonderful compilation in several months. Now that the Umami Blue has settled in fully, the lush mids can truly be appreciated. I am completely infatuated by the female vocals on this well curated and brilliantly mastered collection. Mike Goetz
One of my favorite classical pieces. I have a total of 4 versions ranging from a direct-to-disc version from Jakob Hrůša conducting the Bamberg Symphony to this 1958 Reiner and the Chicago Symphony pressing of Dvořák’s New World Symphony. This 1958 pressing is in near mint condition; a very clean and quiet copy. I’m sure the Hana Umami Blue cart with its microline stylus contributes to the lack of surface noise.
