If you haven't pre-ordered then grab one fast cause they won't last!!  MOFI really did justice to Joni's piano and voice on this one.

Me too, as my dealer doesn't have the vinyl. She's an astonishingly good performer and, to her credit, sounds a bit embarrassed by the lyrics to "Real Good For Free." They sound a bit smug in 1974, when she's a much bigger star than she was in 1970.

Have quite a few Angel Record releases. They specialized in classical releases only. Many, if not most all, are really excellant , and I usually expect both very good recordings and pressings.

Cracked this new pressing open last weekend and listened with my parents.  Our jaws were on the floor!

My first exposure to Zigman, I'm in!

Thanks for sharing,

Cody

Unfortunately, that was one I tired of halfway through and had to go to something else. Something I rarely do. Usually play any selection all the way through.

Zigman : Started out nice, but turned into a Broadway musical in sound and composition, vs an opera. For me, could not take it anymore.

But, everyone is different, so hopefully you enjoyed 👍🏼

Streaming, something else for this confirmed Ludidite to wrestle with...;^)

Freshly returned from the record store with an eclectic mix. Playing in the Rotel/Denafrips digital rig are Miles Davis, ZZ Top (ugh-compressed), Led Zeppelin (somewhat compressed), Philip Glass, Beethoven.

I think I might like Miles Davis very much.
